♻️ Strategy Lifecycle
Strategy Lifecycle
This section explains how strategies are created, reviewed, executed, and maintained within the MALGIST ecosystem.
1. Strategy Creation
Strategies are created by:
The MALGIST core team (initial phase)
Selected strategy contributors (future)
A strategy defines:
Target protocols
Execution logic
Capital allocation rules
Risk classification
Strategies are expressed as structured on-chain instructions that can be executed by the Universal Vault.
2. Strategy Review
Before being made available to users, each strategy goes through a review process.
The review focuses on:
Logical correctness
Protocol compatibility
Risk transparency
Execution safety
At the MVP stage, reviews are performed internally by the MALGIST team. Future versions may include community review and governance signals.
3. Strategy Execution
Once approved, a strategy becomes executable by users.
Execution flow:
Users deposit funds into the Universal Vault
The vault reads the selected strategy
Capital is routed through registered protocol adapters
All actions are executed on-chain
Execution is deterministic and follows the exact strategy definition.
4. Fee Distribution
Strategies may include fee mechanisms.
Typical fee flows:
Platform fee for infrastructure and maintenance
Strategy creator fee (future)
Fees are calculated transparently and deducted according to predefined rules.
5. Strategy Upgrade (Future)
Strategies are designed to be upgrade-aware but not mutable by default.
Planned upgrade mechanisms include:
Versioned strategies
User opt-in to upgraded versions
Governance-controlled approvals
This ensures safety while allowing the ecosystem to evolve.
Summary
The strategy lifecycle in MALGIST ensures:
Clear ownership and responsibility
Transparent execution
User-controlled participation
While enabling a long-term path toward a permissionless strategy ecosystem.
